Linebacker Sean Lee is the heart and soul of the Dallas Cowboys' defense. The problem is, injuries have taken a toll on Lee at different points in his career.
The nine-year pro hurt his hamstring late in last Sunday's win over the New York Giants. Lee left the game and many Cowboys fans held their breath.
Fortunately, it looks like Dallas will have its defensive captain back for this weekend's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Lee appears likely to play.
Lee told reporters today he plans on playing against Seattle, and participated in a portion of practice.
Lee has recorded nine tackles in the first two games. He has helped Dallas limit the Giants and Carolina Panthers to 29 total points.
Last season, Lee recorded 70 tackles and an interception in 11 games.
Dallas and Seattle will kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday. The game will be broadcast on FOX.
The Cowboys are looking to move to 2-1 on the season and at least stay tied for the lead in the NFC East. Seattle, meanwhile, is 0-2 and looking for its first win of the season.
