On Friday morning, the New York Jets received some bad news. Second-year wide receiver ArDarius Stewart is reportedly facing a suspension and could miss the early part of the season.

According to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Stewart is facing a two-game suspension. The former Alabama wideout allegedly tested positive for a diuretic or masking agent.

Stewart's suspension has yet to be announced by the league.

Here's more from Rapoport.

Stewart finished with six receptions for 82 receiving yards in 15 games during his rookie season. He decided to forego his final season with the Tide to enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Jets selected him in the third round. He was the eighth wide receiver selected in the draft.

In his final season at Alabama, Stewart put up 54 receptions for 864 yards and nine touchdowns. He's off to a rough start for the 2018 season, but could see increased playing time when he returns to the team following the reported suspension.
