Earlier this week, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill met with the NFL for an eight-hour interview.

During the proceedings, Hill and his lawyers discussed the dropped criminal child abuse case against him as well as the explosive audio conversation between Hill and his fiancee, Crystal Espinal.

Kansas City suspended Hill indefinitely from team activities as the investigation was underway. However, with the investigation in the rear-view, Hill is expected to rejoin the Chiefs in training camp.

As for a potential suspension, Yahoo Sports has the latest.

NFL insider Terez Paylor suggested a decision on a suspension for Hill could come before training camp kicks off.

Following the NFL’s eight-hour interview with Hill on Wednesday in Kansas City, sources tell Yahoo Sports the Chiefs are hopeful a ruling on the matter will come before the start of training camp, and if that comes to fruition, expect him to be in attendance for the start of camp on July 26 in St. Joseph, Missouri.

According to the report from Paylor, the meeting with the NFL was a "positive" one for Hill.

Before his indefinite suspension, Hill was in line for a major contract which would have made him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league.

Stay tuned for the latest.
