Malik Willis is widely considered one of the best quarterback talents in this year's draft class.
NFL Network insider Daniel Jeremiah believes Willis is valuable enough that one team -- the Detroit Lions -- could make an "aggressive" push to land him in tonight's first round.
"Malik Willis is a great example of how unpredictable this draft is going to be. Could go anywhere from Top 10 to end of the 1st! I wouldn't rule out a trade-up, don't be surprised if we see a team get aggressive to go get him (possibly Lions)," Jeremiah wrote on Twitter.
The Lions currently hold the No. 2 and No. 32 overall picks in this year's first round. The No. 2 pick will likely go toward one of this year's elite defensive talents, but that No. 32 pick could be used to jump into an earlier position.
The Detroit franchise acquired that pick in last year's Matthew Stafford trade, so it would only make sense that they use it to land their next franchise QB this year.
That being said, Willis could be coming off the board at multiple junctures this evening. The Carolina Panthers (No. 6), the Seattle Seahawks (No. 9) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 20) have all been rumored as possible landing spots.
