The NFL is reportedly looking into the Friday morning arrest of Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing.

Downing was arrested early Friday morning for driving under the influence. He was pulled over shortly after the team arrived back in Tennessee following their win over the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.

It's unclear if Downing consumed any alcohol on the team plane.

"The NFL is reviewing the actions of Titans OC Todd Downing, per league source. All league personnel are subject to discipline if a league rule is violated. There is a policy that prohibits alcohol on team planes or buses," NFL insider Jonathan Jones reports.

The 42-year-old assistant was pulled over at around 3:49 a.m. local time. The team plane landed in Tennessee at 2:11 a.m. He was released by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office a couple hours after he was booked.

“We are aware of the reports regarding Todd Downing and are in the process of gathering additional information,” the Titans said in a statement earlier today.
