The New England Patriots have made another NFL Draft trade as they continue to lead the league in that category.

The Patriots have traded their fifth-round pick to the Houston Texans for their sixth and seventh-round picks.

It was a matter of when, not if, with regards to the Patriots making another NFL Draft trade. Since 2000, the Patriots have agreed to 83 draft-related trades, which is close to four trades each year. The second-place team during that time is the Philadelphia Eagles, who have 64 NFL Draft trades. The NFL world isn't surprised that this move was made.

This is likely just the first of several draft trades that will be made involving the Patriots.

We'll have to see who the Patriots pick with that fifth-rounder or if they potentially dangle that to move up a little more.
