Alabama head coach Nick Saban provided an update on Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa following his injury in the first half of Saturday night's win over Tennessee.

Tagovailoa suffered a high-ankle sprain in the win over the Vols. He had a minor procedure on Sunday morning.

Saban issued an update on Monday afternoon.

"We're hopeful that in a 10 day period he'll be back being able to do pretty active type rehab and we'll see how it goes from there. Those things are pretty unpredictable at this point," Saban announced.

Tagovailoa will miss this weekend's game against Arkansas. The Crimson Tide have a bye the following weekend. Alabama hosts LSU the following weekend, which is outside of the 10-day window.

The junior quarterback has reportedly told his teammates he'll be back for that game.

The Alabama-LSU game, set for Nov. 9 in Tuscaloosa, could be a massive No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup.
