Buckeye Nation’s adoration for Justin Fields was already pretty high, but it reached another level on Saturday afternoon.
Ohio State blew out Michigan State, 52-12, on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes were playing without their head coach, Ryan Day, as well as 17 scholarship players, but they still had Justin Fields. So, everything turned out OK.
Fields led the Buckeyes to their fifth win of the season. Ohio State is now 5-0 heading into next week’s scheduled game against Michigan (that game, though, remains very much up in the air).
Ohio State fans are loving what Fields said about his teammates following the win at Michigan State.
“I feel for those guys. I love those guys. I’d die for them,” he said.

Ohio State fans are desperate for a championship with Fields behind center.
“Will be an out right shame if this team doesn’t get a championship with him as QB,” one fan remarked.
“That’s the Brotherhood,” another fan added.
Ohio State is certainly a College Football Playoff frontrunner this year. The only question is if the Buckeyes will get enough games in to be selected. As of now, there’s a chance Ohio State could finish with just six games played.
Will that be enough to make it in and give Fields a shot at a championship?
