The Big Ten Championship Game between No. 4 Ohio State and No. 14 Northwestern is a go on Saturday afternoon.

Not everyone will be suiting up for the Buckeyes, though. Ohio State's football program will be without 22 players on Saturday afternoon.

Among them: Chris Olave, the Buckeyes' star wide receiver.

Here's the full list of unavailable players, from Ohio State:

WR CHRIS OLAVE, LB BARON BROWNING, P DRUE CHRISMAN, DE TYLER FRIDAY, DE JAVONTAE JEAN-BAPTISTE, WR JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA, RB STEELE CHAMBERS, S BRYSON SHAW, QB GUNNAR HOAK, WR JAYLEN HARRIS, LB TOMMY EICHENBERG, DL JACOLBE COWAN, S KOURT WILLIAMS, CB CAMERON BROWN, TE COREY RAU, LB BEN SCHMIESING, DT ZAID HAMDAN, WR CHRIS BOOKER, OL RYAN SMITH, LB CADE KACHERSKI, QB JAGGER LAROE, DB ALEX TAYLOR.

It remains to be seen what this means for the possible College Football Playoff matchup in January. It's possible that one or more of these players will be unavailable due to the Big Ten's 21-day rule.

Ohio State and Northwestern are scheduled to kick off at noon E.T. The Buckeyes and the Wildcats will be playing for a Big Ten championship on FOX.

Ryan Day's program will be short-handed, but the Buckeyes are still a big favorite in this one.
