The Pittsburgh Steelers had a bye week this weekend. The time off was reportedly not a good thing for backup linebacker Anthony Chickillo.

The 26-year-old linebacker was reportedly arrested on multiple charges, including simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment, per the report.

Action News 4 in Pittsburgh had the details:

A law enforcement source tells Pittsburgh's Action News 4 the alleged incident involves Chickillo's girlfriend and that it occurred at Nemacolin.

Chickillo was arrested by Uniontown Pennsylvania State Police and arraigned this morning. According to the court docket, a $10,000 unsecured bail has been set, and he has a Preliminary Hearing scheduled for October 30.

The Steelers are aware of the alleged incident.

"We are aware of an incident involving Anthony Chickillo last night and are still gathering information. Until we have further details we will not provide any further comments," a Steelers spokesman said.

Chickillo was a sixth round NFL Draft pick out of Miami in 2015. He has 78 career tackles and seven sacks. Chickillo has appeared in three games this season.
