Ranking The 3 Most Likely Schools For Arch Manning
Few college football recruitments, if any, have been as closely watched as Arch Manning's. The five-star quarterback is the No. 1 recruit in the country for 2023 and, as the nephew of Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, is even more followed than the typical No. 1 recruit.
Where is Arch Manning going to end up?
Arch Manning, a New Orleans, Louisiana native, is believed to be down to Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas.
Three schools appear to stand out, though. Here's an updated ranking of his top three schools heading into the summer.
1. Texas
The Longhorns, with head coach Steve Sarkisian, appear to be the favorite for Arch Manning. He has a longstanding relationship with the head coach and the Longhorns could have more name, image and likeness money to throw around than anyone else.
2. Alabama
You should never discount Nick Saban in a recruitment like this. He made his not-so-subtle pitch to Peyton and Eli Manning during a Monday Night Football broadcast last year, saying quarterbacks should always want to play with the best players.
And no one has better players than Alabama.
3. Georgia
The Bulldogs have been mentioned since the start for Arch Manning. Georgia is the reigning national champions, after all, and Kirby Smart continues to reel in elite talent to Athens, Georgia.
