The NBA free agency cycle doesn't kick off for another few days, but the news surrounding potential free agents never stops.

Perhaps the biggest free agent on the market is Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard. After leading the Raptors to a title, Leonard is set to enter free agency and already has multiple suitors.

When asked about Kawhi's impending decision, Raptors president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri had a lengthy response.

"Honestly, even if I didn't, I always feel confident. Our organization feels confident. And we do feel confident that he will [return]. But Kawhi is his own man. He's shown that since he came here. He's a confident human being, he's an unbelievable person, he is his own person...I'm confident, and you see how these things go. I think we have to respect him for that decision he has to make," Ujiri said.

His full statement can be seen below.

Toronto isn't alone in its pursuit of a long-term deal for the NBA star.

The Los Angeles Clippers are in the discussion as a potential landing spot, while the New York Knicks are also reportedly in the mix.

Free agency kicks off in just a few days. Stay tuned for the latest.
