Former New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has shot down a contract rumor regarding his former team.
Anderson, 26, agreed to a two-year deal with the Carolina Panthers in free agency. The former Jets star is reportedly getting $20 million over two years, including $12 million in Year 1.
This morning, a rumor surfaced about the contract offer Anderson declined from the Jets. He was rumored to be offered $40 million over four years.

Anderson took to Twitter on Wednesday night to address the report. He says it’s false.

Anderson is coming off four very productive seasons with New York. He caught 52 passes for 779 yards and five touchdowns in 2019.
The former Jets wide receiver should become one of Teddy Bridgewater’s top targets in Carolina.
