Few quarterbacks in recent NFL history have been linked together more than Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, the respective No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Griffin had the better season, causing some to start a "who's better?" debate between the two quarterbacks, though Luck ultimately proved to be the much better selection.
Luck is out of the league now, though, while Griffin is still working as a backup quarterback.
The former Washington Redskins star turned Baltimore Ravens backup sent a message to Luck following his shocking retirement decision on Saturday night.
"Much love to my fellow Texas brother. Still remember our time together as Heisman finalists and how we laughed about almost being teammates at Stanford. The decision was only yours to make and I’m glad you have found peace in it. Respect," he wrote.
That's a classy message and arguably one of the best reactions to Luck's retirement that we have seen.
Some Colts fans could learn a thing or two from it, that is for sure.
