Tuesday, police in Lancaster, South Carolina asked for the public’s help in finding former XFL star Rod Smart, who was reported missing since June 12. It looks like the former professional football player has been found safe.
According to The Herald, Smart was found “safe” on Tuesday afternoon. Doug Barfield, who is the spokesman for the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, issued a short statement on the matter:
“Torrold Deshaun Smart was located this afternoon and is safe,” Barfield said.

Regardless, obviously, this is the best outcome we could have hoped for.
Smart, during his time in the NFL, was primarily used as a kick returner. He also rushed for 67 yards out of the backfield.
