Russell Wilson's time in Seattle has reportedly come to an end.

According to a report from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to trade Wilson to the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos were linked to Aaron Rodgers for the past year or so, but the Green Bay Packers quarterback is signing a contract extension with the NFC North franchise. So, the Broncos shifted their sights to Wilson - and they did so quickly.

On Tuesday, the Broncos and the Seahawks agreed to a blockbuster trade.

"After weeks of negotiations, in one of the largest trades in NFL history, the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos have agreed to terms for a deal involving Super-Bowl winning QB Russell Wilson, sources tell ESPN. Trade is pending a physical and Wilson’s approval," the longtime NFL insider tweeted on Tuesday.

Wilson should instantly elevate the Broncos to Super Bowl contention, though they'll be going up against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the AFC West. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Seahawks are getting a "massive haul" for Wilson, including "multiple first-round draft picks, plus additional picks and players, per sources." More details on the blockbuster Russell Wilson trade are expected to be out soon.
