With the 2022 NFL Draft fast approaching, the New Orleans Saints are continuing to do their due diligence on this year's crop of quarterbacks.

And according to Saints reporter Nick Underhill, the team is hosting a star quarterback out of the SEC on Tuesday.

Per Underhill, "Mississippi QB Matt Corral is visiting the Saints today." Noting, "New Orleans continues to do its homework on quarterbacks ahead of the draft."

Corral's visit to NOLA got fans talking on social media.

"Add Corral to the list of QBs that the saints have met/visited with!" said a Louisiana native. "Think so far the list is Pickett, Willis, Corral, Howell, and Ridder."

"Please drop to the 2nd round," pleaded a Saints fan.

"Corral has also met with the Steelers, Eagles, and Panthers," commented Aileen Hnatiuk.

"Pray for my sanity," replied another Saints fan.

By most accounts, all of the bigger name quarterbacks have earned a second round grade from scouts.

However, since QB is such an area of emphasis in the NFL, it wouldn't be surprising to see a number of them come off the board earlier than expected.
