Scottie Scheffler and his wife, Meredith Scudder, are a couple of holes away from having the biggest celebration of their lives.

Scheffler is leading The Masters by four strokes with only four holes to play on Sunday afternoon. Barring an epic collapse, Scheffler, the No. 1 player in the world, will be donning the green jacket on Sunday night.

It should be a special moment just off the No. 18 green with Scottie and his wife, Meredith. The happy couple has enjoyed some cool moments over the years.

Nothing will top winning The Masters, though - at least in the world of golf.

Scheffler and his wife, Meredith, got to enjoy a cool moment on the Augusta National course earlier this year, when they played in the Par-3 Tournament.

Scottie and Meredith were high school sweethearts. From the New York Post:

The couple first crossed paths at Highland Park High School in Texas, according to Golf Monthly. Although they attended separate colleges — Scheffler at the University of Texas and Scudder at Texas A&M — their relationship remained strong, with Scheffler ultimately proposing the question in 2020.

The happy couple enjoyed a winter wedding in December of 2020.

While the wedding night was certainly a joyous occasion, the celebration following a win at The Masters might top it.

We'll be seeing Scheffler's wife and family just off the No. 18 green in a couple of minutes at Augusta National.

The final round is airing on CBS.
