The Seattle Seahawks reportedly have interest in a major NFL trade as the 2020 offseason begins to truly heat up.
The Chargers and the Panthers reportedly agreed to a significant trade on Wednesday evening, exchanging Pro Bowl offensive linemen. Perhaps Seattle will be next to make a big move.
Seattle is reportedly very interested in acquiring Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, who wants out of Jacksonville. The 24-year-old defensive lineman was a third-round pick in 2016 and made the Pro Bowl in 2017.
ProFootballNetwork’s Tony Pauline reports that the Seahawks have legitimate interest in acquiring Ngakoue, though it could come at a steep cost.
“My sources tell me they believe compensation would include something like a second-round selection and possibly a situation where the Seahawks swap their pick in round one for the Jags pick in the second round,” he reports.
Ngakoue, who has 37.5 career sacks, made it clear that his longterm future is not in Jacksonville.
The Jaguars are aware I no longer have interest in signing a long term contract in Jacksonville. Duval, I love you and gave you guys everything I got. I’m thankful for the journey and look forward to continuing my career elsewhere. -91

Ngakoue has played for the Jaguars since 2016, when he entered the NFL. Jacksonville has shipped out several big-name players over the last year-plus. It would not be surprising if Ngakoue joins that list this offseason.
