It appears the Seattle Seahawks still don't have a great deal of interest in making a move for former No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield right now.

Per Josina Anderson, "At this time, the Seahawks still don't sound overly eager on dealing for the Browns quarterback &* his salary at that price in a situation where they feel Cleveland has to eventually move him."

Adding, "Still worth monitoring."

NFL fans reacted to the Baker/Seahawks update on social media. "This sounds like a case of teams deciding on a dollar figure not a draft pick compensation," replied Dawgs By Nature. "Guessing the Browns have told teams how much they will eat and are waiting to see what teams miss on QB’s in the draft."

"Teams are trying to get Baker with Pennies on the Dollar," tweeted Antwan Staley.

"Baker Mayfield won’t play another down for Brown. They’re keeping him hostage at this point," laughed a Seattle fan. "... release him so Seahawks pick him."

"They’d rather have Drew Lock," cried another fan.

It's been reported multiple times that the Steelers would pounce if Baker were to be cut. At this point, most teams that have any sort of interest in Baker would only entertain it for the right price.
