Terry Kennedy, a well-known skateboarder who has been featured in the Skate video game franchise, was reportedly arrested in Illinois earlier this week on troubling charges.
According to court records obtained by TMZ Sports, Kennedy faces accusations of aggravated battery in a public place and threatening a public official. He was also booked on a charge of violating his bail bond after he was reportedly out on bail in relation to a previous arrest earlier this month.
Officers in DuPage County reportedly responded to a report of a battery at a motel on July 27 in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois where Kennedy had been accused of violently attacking a man. The victim of the attack was left with a fractured skull and a concussion and Kennedy reportedly fled the scene.
The 36-year-old was located and apprehended, but during the booking process he began to threaten the officers involved in his arrest. According to TMZ, Kennedy threatened to murder an officer present nine different times.
Kennedy was in court on Wednesday and his bail has been set at $100,000. Per records acquired by TMZ, the 36-year-old skater is still in jail.

Kennedy is most well-known for his connection to entertainer Rob Drydek and his various cameos on “Rob Drydek’s Fantasy Factory.” He’s also appeared in the Skate video game, as well as three of the franchise sequels.
The story of Kennedy’s arrest is still developing, but more information should be available in the coming weeks. Per TMZ, his next court date has been set for late August.
