There aren't a lot of high school baseball umpires available, which makes playing the games impossible.

After all, if a game doesn't have reliable umpires to officiate the game, it'll have to be canceled, which is what's been going on lately.

Scot Pollard made this point in a tweet on Friday and thinks that it's the parents fault. He doesn't like how parents follow umpires to their cars just because they made a bad call.

"How sad that HS baseball games are being canceled this weekend due to an umpire shortage," Pollard tweeted. "Parents, this is your fault. You assault them and follow them to their cars because they made a bad call on your precious child and wonder why there are none available? This is what you get."

The sports world agrees with Pollard and thinks that something has to change.

If things don't change soon, games will continue to get canceled as umpires don't want to deal with the abuse anymore.
