One Pittsburgh Steelers' NFL Draft choice is making headlines for his jersey number choice at the NFL level.

Pittsburgh took a running back with the 122nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft over the weekend.

That running back, Kentucky's Benny Snell, isn't holding back when it comes to his jersey number preference.

Snell wants No. 26.

That number, of course, was last worn by Pittsburgh star running back Le'Veon Bell, who sat out the 2018 season. Bell has since signed with the New York Jets.

"PERIOD. NEW 26," he wrote in response to a photo of himself holding up a No. 26 jersey.

Snell wore No. 26 during his time at Kentucky, where he rushed for 3,873 yards and 48 touchdowns over three seasons.

He's pumped to be in Pittsburgh now.

"Man, I’m excited," Snell said via Jim Wexell of 247Sports. "I'm very excited. I want to thank Tomlin and the rest of the staff for having me, and you all just got one of the hardest working, young players that’s coming out in 2019 because I’m going to give my heart and my all."
