Stetson Bennett is Georgia's starting quarterback.

The Bulldogs are coming off a national championship season. Bennett decided to return for another season in Athens, Georgia.

While Kirby Smart's team has more highly-rated quarterback recruits on the roster, this is still Bennett's team.

Still, not everyone in the college football world is convinced that it'll last.

Others believe he's due more respect.

"Nothing can truly prepare the college football world for how aggravating the Stetson discourse is going to be this year," one fan tweeted.

"This is a false narrative that really needs to stop," another fan tweeted.

"Stetson Bennett has to be the most disrespected player of all time among starting QBs to lead their team to a National Championship," another fan added on Twitter.

Georgia is expected to open the season ranked inside the top three, hoping for a national championship repeat.
