Tom Brady to the Dolphins rumors have been circulating since even before the GOAT's unretirement. From sports personalities like Bill Simmons to others; some believe Miami was on the table as a Michael Jordan to the Wizards scenario, where Brady would receive some stake in ownership.

On Monday, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was asked about the Brady rumors. And according to the 39-year-old, don't believe everything you read.

Per Dolphins beat reporter Daniel Oyefusi, "Asked about Tom Brady coming to Miami, Mike McDaniel says that’s what you call 'fake news.'"

NFL insider Ian Rapoport is also on record that there's nothing to see when it comes to Brady and the Fins. Saying on the "Pat McAfee Show" Friday:

I haven’t heard anything to corroborate any of that, honestly ... Brady is under contract with the Bucs, they have said definitively he’s not going anywhere. Plus, if I remember correctly, he did recruit a couple guys to sign back with Tampa, including his buddy Leonard Fournette, including Chris Godwin, including several other free agents and is he really going to – Ryan Jensen came back – is he really going to do that and bail?

TB12 seems to have unfinished business in Tampa Bay.

That said, it hasn't stopped the rumor mill from swirling when it comes to Brady potentially landing with the Dolphins or San Francisco.

What we do know for certain is that Tom Brady will be playing football in 2022. And that's a beautiful thing.
