The Oklahoma City Thunder have reportedly made a major trade - but no, it does not involve star point guard Russell Westbrook.

The Thunder, who traded Paul George to the Clippers for five first-round picks, among other things, have added another future draft pick.

Oklahoma City has reportedly traded Jerami Grant to the Denver Nuggets for a 2020 first round draft pick.

ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski first reported the news.

The move saves Oklahoma City a ton of money in the luxury tax.

"Oklahoma City Is trading F Jerami Grant to Denver for a 2020 first-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Deal brings OKC it’s sixth future first in past week and saves Thunder $39M in salary and luxury tax," he reports.

Oklahoma City got Danilo Gallinari in the Paul George trade, making Grant less vital heading into the 2019-20 season.

Westbrook, meanwhile, remains a member of the Thunder organization, though a trade is reportedly a possibility. The Miami Heat are seen by some league insiders as the favorite to land the MVP point guard.
