The Portland Trail Blazers and the Atlanta Hawks have reportedly agreed to an exchanging of highly-paid veteran forwards, according to ESPN's NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

Portland, coming off a Western Conference Finals appearance, is trading Evan Turner to the Atlanta Hawks.

The Trail Blazers are sending Turner to the Hawks in exchange for Kent Bazemore.

Turner and Bazemore both have one year left on their contract.

The specific motives for the trade at this point are unclear, though Bazemore is a better shooter and perhaps a better fit next to Damian Lillard. "GREAT deal for Portland. That helps them so much. Bazemore will help so much with blitzes against Dame,"

Turner, meanwhile, goes to his fifth NBA team. The former No. 2 overall NBA Draft pick heads to the Hawks, who have assembled quite a bit of young talent in Trae Young, John Collins, Kevin Huerter and DeAndre Hunter.
