Ahead of the weekend a major trade rocked up the Major League Baseball world. The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a trade with the Cincinnati Reds that included MLB star Yasiel Puig and three-time All-star Matt Kemp.

After the trade, everyone suspected the Dodgers were clearing cap space - and outfield positions - to make a run at star outfield Bryce Harper. The Dodgers created over $18 million in space by dealing Puig and Kemp, and created a need in the outfield.

Immediate reaction to the trade suggested Los Angeles is now the favorite to land the former Washington Nationals star. Now, Vegas is on board as well.

According to BetOnline, the Los Angeles Dodgers are now the favorite to win the Bryce Harper sweepstakes.

Harper met with the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees, among others during his free agent tour. The Nationals reportedly offered Harper a 10-year, $300 million deal and they remain in the hunt as well.

Stay tuned.
