Tiger Woods has added a new tournament to his playing schedule for the 2019 season following his win at The Masters.

The 15-time major champion announced this evening that he'll be playing in Japan later this fall.

Woods will be playing in the inaugural ZOZO Championship.

"I’m excited to play in the inaugural ZOZO Championship in October, and return to Japan, one of my favorite countries. It’s going to be a fun fall," he announced.

Woods has gotten off to an incredible start this year, winning the 2019 Masters earlier this month, his first major in more than 10 years. It's unclear when Woods will be playing next.

Woods' next major tournament will come next month, when he plays at the PGA Championship in New York in mid-May.
