Tiger Woods is back at the top of the mountain after winning the Masters earlier today. Amidst all of the celebrations and ceremonies that came with the big win was a press conference where he shined once again.
Speaking to the media after going minus-13 to claim the Masters, Tiger revealed how excited he was to be donning the green jacket for a fifth time. "Yeah, I'm excited about show and tell at school," he joked before walking off the stage.
Woods has two young kids, though neither are old enough (or, in the case of his son, were even born) to remember his last major championship in 2008. Now, the memory of their dad being a major champion will last forever.
It was a vintage Tiger moment that may go down in history, though perhaps not as deeply as the pictures and videos of him winning the tournament.
Tiger's win on Sunday ended an 11-year major drought that dated back to the 2008 U.S. Open.
Entering Day 4 of the Masters, Woods was tied for second and trailing Francesco Molinari by two strokes. But a solid front nine outing combined with a meltdown by Molinari in the early part of the back nine opened the door for Tiger.
Three birdies between the 13th and 16th holes were all Woods needed to secure the green jacket even with a bogie on the 18th.
The win gave Woods his fifth Masters title and 15th major win.
He heads into the PGA Championship next month as the betting favorite. And after today's performance, who wants to pick against him?
