Tiger Woods was back on the course at Torrey Pines for the Farmers Insurance Open, which pits the best golfers in the world against each other. Woods, Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and more took to the course in California for the second round on Friday afternoon.

The former World No. 1 got back to his winning ways in 2018 when he took home the Tour Championship trophy with a two-shot victory over Billy Horschel. With a successful 2018 behind him, Woods got off to a solid start to the 2019 campaign with a two-under, 70 at Torrey Pines on Thursday afternoon in his first round.

Back on the course Friday afternoon, Woods did enough to make the cut by shooting another two-under, 70 on the day.

Tiger had four birdies on the day, but a double-bogey at No. 18 - his ninth hole - set him back.

Woods started the day eight shots back of the leader, Jon Rahm. He currently sits nine shots back of Justin Rose - though rose still have five holes left to play.

The cut line should come in at three-under par, which means Woods is safe and will play the weekend. He sits tied for 45th behind an impressive leaderboard that contains Jordan Spieth and Jason Day.
