Tiger Woods needed a little help on Friday in order to make the cut at the Northern Trust in New Jersey this weekend. Woods bogeyed No. 18 in his second round to put himself in danger of missing the cut.

The 14-time major champion sat at even-par for the tournament after 36 holes. Luckily for him, the cut line moved with him and he was able to take the course on Saturday.

He took advantage of the opportunity on Saturday, posting his best round of the tournament. Woods had three birdies and no bogeys on the day, good for a three-under 68.

After bogeying No. 18 on Friday, Tiger got his revenge with a birdie on Saturday.

Tiger currently sits seven back of the leaders, Jamie Lovemark and Brooks Koepka, who have yet to tee off.

The Northern Trust features the top 125 players in the FedEx Cup Standings and is the first of four legs of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Stay tuned.
