Badgley spent the last three seasons as a kicker for the Los Angeles Chargers. This past year, the former Miami Hurricanes kicker went 24/33 on field goals (72.7%) and 36/39 on extra points (92.3%).
Badgley signed with Tennessee’s practice roster on Friday.
After a training camp kicking battle between Tucker McCann and Blake Haubeil, the Titans ultimately decided to claim Ficken off waivers from the New York Jets on Aug. 1. The Titans’ expected starter for the 2021 season was limited in practice on Friday and was moved to the IR on Saturday with a groin injury.
Ficken kicked well throughout preseason, going 3/3 on field goals.
With Badgley as their new kicker, the Titans will kickoff against the Cardinals tomorrow afternoon.
