The Tennessee Titans and quarterback Ryan Tannehill have reportedly agreed on a contract extension.
Tannehill helped lead the Titans to the AFC Championship Game this past season. He replaced Marcus Mariota as the team's starting QB a couple of weeks into the season.
There was some speculation that the Titans would let Tannehill walk in free agency and make a run at Tom Brady. That's not going to happen, though.
Multiple reports have confirmed that Tennessee has agreed to a longterm contract extension with Tannehill. He's not going anywhere.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport broke the news.
Tennessee is reportedly paying Tannehill close to $30 million per season. He's reportedly getting $118 million in total money, per Jeff Darlington.
Good for Ryan Tannehill.
As for Tom Brady, there's reportedly a new "team to watch," according to one ESPN insider.
NFL free agency is scheduled to officially begin on March 18.
