Tom Brady is set to hit NFL free agency in a little more than a month. The six-time Super Bowl champion is apparently ready for football to be back.
The New England Patriots quarterback sent an offseason message to his teammate, wide receiver Julian Edelman, on Instagram. Brady is ready to get back to work.
Edelman took to Instagram earlier Wednesday. “Focus on what’s next. Always,” he wrote.
Brady was quick to respond with a command. “Get back to the east coast so we can throw,” Brady said, adding a 100 emoji.
Brady is apparently interested in throwing with Edelman this offseason. The question, of course, is will Brady be throwing to Edelman when the regular season begins?
The six-time Super Bowl champion quarterback is set to hit free agency. Returning to New England might be the most-likely outcome, though.
Multiple franchises – Las Vegas, Tennessee – could have interest in signing Brady. The Patriots, though, are reportedly willing to pay the quarterback north of $30 million a season. If that’s true, it’s tough to see Brady leaving.
