Are the Patriots the favorite to sign Tom Brady in free agency, or is it another team?
ESPN NFL insider Jeff Darlington believes it’s another team. The veteran NFL reporter has ranked Brady’s three most-likely free agent destinations and the Patriots are not No. 1 on the list. They’re not No. 2 on the list, either.
“He made (Tennessee) out to be more of an option than I realized it could be,” Adam Schefter said of Darlington on The Rich Eisen Show. “In his mind, to rank the teams right now, it would be Tennessee, Las Vegas and New England. I think we all need to pay a little more attention here to Tennessee than we thought.”

Tennessee being the favorite would be somewhat surprising. The Titans have Ryan Tannehill at quarterback and are coming off an AFC Championship Game appearance.
Mike Vrabel played with Brady on the Patriots, though, and it’s possible the franchise could look to upgrade at the quarterback position.
Titans running back Derrick Henry was asked about the possibility of signing Brady earlier this month. He doesn’t see it.
“He still can play,” Henry said of Brady, per the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast. “Obviously, age doesn’t matter for him, he’s still playing at a high level, but my question would be: Why ain’t Ryan good enough, you know?”
NFL free agency is set to begin on March 18.
