Tom Herman's Wife Responds To Report Herman Tipped Off Brett McMurphy About Zach Smith

Tom Herman's wife Michelle.

The Ohio State saga took a weird turn Saturday afternoon when Ohio State insider Jeff Snook reported that Tom Herman was the source that led Brett McMurphy's report. The report detailed McMurphy decided to look into the domestic violence accusations against Zach Smith after Herman told him to.

The Texas head coach released a statement denying he was the source for McMurphy's report. "It is absolutely untrue," Herman told the American-Statesman via spokesman. "Neither I, nor anybody in my family, has ever communicated with Brett McMurphy about the situation at Ohio State."

Following his statement, some people's eyes turned toward Tom Herman's wife, Michelle.

It didn't take long for her to make a statement of her own. She posted a photo of a man in a tin foil hat with a caption that read "Nope, wasn't me either!"

Check it out.

Ohio State's investigation was given a two-week timeline nearly one week ago. The university's investigative committee should be close to a decision on Urban Meyer's future at Ohio State.
