Trevor Keels Makes NBA Draft Decision: Fans React

Another notable college basketball star announced their decision to enter the NBA Draft Sunday. Taking to his Twitter account, Duke's Trevor Keels revealed his decision to "chase another dream."

This past season was a dream come true. I loved competing on some of the game's biggest stages with teammates who became brothers for life. ... Since the season ended, I've done a lot of thinking about my future. ... Playing at Duke was a dream and I feel that now is the time to chase another dream. I am excited to enter my name in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Fans reacted to Keels' announcement on social media. "Go be great," commented a Duke fan.

"Chase that dream!" another said, mentioning Trevor Keels.

"Congrats, Trevor!! Best of luck," another Blue Devils fan replied. "Thanks for bringing #DukeNation on an incredible ride this season!! Forever a fan."

"You will be missed however I look forward to watching you in the big league!" tweeted a Cameron Crazy. "Best of luck always Trev."

"Go get that bag brudda."

"Big news out of Duke as freshman shooting guard, Trevor Keels, is headed to the 2022 NBA Draft," said a 247Sports writer.

"Go be great Trev. Thank you for choosing Duke," another fan commented.

"#KEELMODE forever," replied another. "Thank you Trevor for a great year, go be great."

The former five-star prospect averaged 11.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists in his 36 appearances in a Duke uniform. Trevor Keels is currently projected as a mid-first-rounder.
