FOX analyst Troy Aikman has joined in on the herd of people trashing FOX Sports 1's Doug Gottlieb for his ridiculous comments on Andrew Luck's retirement decision.

Gottlieb criticized the Indianapolis Colts quarterback's shocking retirement, calling it a soft move.

"Retiring cause rehabbing is 'too hard' is the most millennial thing ever," Gottlieb tweeted.

Gottlieb's tweet has received more than 20,000 responses, basically all of which are condemning.

Aikman, whose Hall of Fame career with the Dallas Cowboys was cut short due to concussions and back problems, was not a fan of Gottlieb's comment either.

"That’s total bullshit Doug," he tweeted. "What qualifies you to decide how someone should live their life? So you’re now the authority on what motivates Andrew Luck? And if his decisions don’t fit into what you think is best for him then you rip him? Guess that keeps you employed on FS1. Nice."

It doesn't get much more direct than that.

Gottlieb, though, has gotten a lot of attention for this tweet, and FOX Sports 1 will surely be talking about this at length tomorrow, and the cycle will continue.
