Tyson Fury was dominant in tonight's rematch against Deontay Wilder. The British heavyweight won tonight's championship bout in convincing fashion.

Fury was clearly the better fighter through six rounds. Wilder seemed out of sorts throughout the fight, while Fury punished him repeatedly. Toward the end of the sixth round, things got a bit weird.

We've seen bitten ears in big heavyweight fights. Luckily things didn't get to that level. With Wilder bleeding from the ear, Tyson Fury chose to do something pretty evocative of it, though.

As he got near his opponent, Fury actually appeared to lick some blood off of Wilder's neck. Ahead of this fight, Fury said that "a fighting man tastes blood," a quote that became pretty prognostic moments ago. "I want to taste it, rub it, punch it, mix it up," Fury continued, per ESPN. Tonight, he did just that. Literally.

One round later, the fight was called. Fury had total control of the fight, and handed him the first loss of his career with a seventh round TKO.

Tonight's fight was a rematch of a great bout from 2018, in which the then-undefeated Wilder retained his belt with a split-decision draw. Tonight, there was no doubt who the better fighter was.

With tonight's win, Fury moves to 30-0-1 all-time, and is now the world champion.
