The NBA announced its Christmas Day schedule today. Games on Christmas are always a marquee draw for the league, and they try to create matchups that reflect that significance.

The most noteworthy game on this year's slate is the matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors. We will get to see LeBron against the defending champs in prime time.

Even though we're more than four months away from Christmas, the early Vegas line is out for the game. Not surprisingly, the Warriors are favored.

In fact, Golden State is a 10 1/2-point favorite, the largest line of the day. It is almost twice as much as the next highest line.

Even with LeBron, the Lakers are not ready to compete with the Warriors, at least on paper. It seems the betting line for this game reflects that.

The Lakers and Warriors will tip off at 8 p.m. ET on Christmas Day.

It will be the last of three games broadcast on ABC that day.
