We have another benches-clearing incident at an MLB game stemming from a player celebrating his home run too much.

The Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Royals cleared their benches in the bottom of the sixth inning this afternoon.

The Royals plunked White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson, who showboated a home run earlier in the contest.

Anderson was hit on purpose in his next at-bat. The benches then cleared:

Thankfully, nothing seemed to escalate too much, but we could have some retaliation from Chicago's pitching staff.

The game is currently tied, 2-2.
