On Sunday afternoon, Brooks Koepka became the first player in PGA tour history to win back-to-back U.S. Open and PGA Championships after outlasting the field at Bethpage Black.
Koepka entered the tournament with a seven-shot lead, but that went away quickly over the final nine holes.
He bogeyed four-straight on the back nine and looked to be in danger of losing the tournament
Despite a late run from Dustin Johnson, Koepka held on to card a four-over 74, which was good enough for a two-shot win over his longtime friend.
After the win, Koepka went straight to his family and girlfriend Jena Sims.
Here's how he celebrated with the family.
Before Koepka took the course of his final round, a video of him and Sims went viral.
She leaned in for a kiss - twice - as he walked onto the course, but Koepka spurned his longtime girlfriend in front of a national audience.
It looks like the two finally found the same romantic wavelength after the win.
After Bethpage Black threw out the gauntlet on Sunday, only a handful of players found scores under par.
Luckily for Koepka, he already put in the hard work through the first three rounds and could coast to victory on the final day.
