France, the host country for this summer’s Women’s World Cup, is taking on Norway in its first game of the tournament this afternoon.
The French got off to a nice start, leading 1-0 following halftime, but the United States’ biggest competition just experienced some heartbreak.
France had a brutal own goal, leading the game to be tied, 1-1.
