On Saturday night, the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets took the floor for Game 4 of their series.
The Spurs entered the game with a 2-1 series lead and looked to be in control early. Gregg Popovich’s squad raced out to a 34-22 lead at the end of the first quarter.
However, the Spurs were outscored 69-45 over the next two quarters and entered the fourth quarter with a significant deficit.
The tensions boiled over for Spurs star DeMar DeRozan late in the fourth quarter when he was ejected after throwing the ball in the general direction of an official.
DeRozan was called for an offensive foul – one he did not like. After the call, the star guard fired the ball at Scott Foster.

Foster immediately gave DeRozan a technical foul and ejected him from the game.
DeRozan played well for the Spurs before his ejection. The guard racked up 19 points, five rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes of action.
Despite his solid play, the Spurs failed to match Denver’s offensive prowess. The Nuggets ran away with the game in the end, edging the Spurs 117-103.
With the win, Denver knotted the series at two games apiece. Game 5 kicks off from Denver on Tuesday night.
