Here’s an easy rule to follow when you’re at a baseball game: If a ball comes into the stands, and you get your hands on it, and there’s a young child around you who wants the ball, give it to them.
That seems simple enough, and most respectable adults seem to follow that rule, but not all of them.
Case, in point: Today’s Big Ten Tournament.
Video is going viral of an Iowa fan appearing to snag a foul ball out of the hands of a young Ohio State fan.
Sure, the two schools are Big Ten rivals, but that doesn’t mean you need to take a foul ball away from a kid.
The announcers rightfully let the fan have it.

“Oh my goodness,” the announcer says, “that guy is about to get roasted on social media.”
Yes, he certainly is.
