Video: Minor Leaguer Makes Most-Embarrassing Mistake Of 2019 Season

minor leaguer right field mistake

We had arguably the most-embarrassing ending to a baseball game this season during a Triple-A game on Wednesday night.

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Yankees) walked off the Norfolk Tides (Orioles) last night thanks to some confusion in the outfield.

Breyvic Valera hit what appeared to be a game-tying double in the bottom of the ninth on Wednesday night.

Norfolk's right fielder, Anderson Feliz, appeared to think that the game was already tied and the winning run was rounding third base. So, he jogged to the ball and tossed it into the stands.

The umpire then signaled for the winning run to score.

Check it out:

That is just brutal.

It just doesn't get much worse than that.
