On Friday night, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier married longtime girlfriend Michelle Rodriguez.
His teammates, from defensive end T.J. Watt to star wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, were in attendance to see the two take the next step in their relationship.
While the ceremony likely held the most-touching moments, perhaps the most heartwarming moment came at the after-party.
Shazier, who suffered a devastating spinal injury against the Cincinnati Bengals in December 2017, danced with his new wife.
Video of the moment quickly went viral on social media.
About a year and a half ago, Ryan Shazier was told he had a 20% chance of ever walking again. This was him today at his wedding.. Anything is possible! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Shazier continues to make great progress with his rehabilitation process and there was no stopping him from dancing with his wife.
While the former Ohio State star continues to progress, he won’t see the field in 2019. The Steelers placed Shazier on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list for the second straight season.
Despite the news, Shazier maintains he wants to play again.
“I definitely want to play,” Shazier said in January. “I try to tell people at the end of the day, just because I got hurt, doesn’t mean I lost the love of the game of football. I love football so much. I just care about the game.”
Perhaps we’ll see Shazier back on the field at some point. Until then, he’ll continue his rehab and remain busy off the field.
Congratulations to Ryan and Michelle on their wedding!
