The Golden State Warriors are one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. They’re 9-30 with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson both sidelined with injuries.
Golden State should vault right back into NBA Finals contention once Curry and Thompson are back sharing the floor together in 2020-21, though. And you can bank on the Warriors trying to add another star into the mix, too.
Could that star be Giannis Antetokounmpo?
The Warriors are one of the teams being rumored for the NBA MVP, who is set to hit free agency after the 2020-21 season.
Golden State played Milwaukee on Wednesday night. Curry appeared to have a message for Giannis following the game.
“Let’s do it! C’mon man,” Curry appears to tell Giannis.

Of course, Curry could be talking about anything here, but recruiting is very much a thing in the NBA these days. It would not be surprising at all if Curry is trying to get Giannis to join him in Golden State.
Milwaukee will have him for at least another season and a half, at least. The Bucks are among the favorites to win this year’s NBA championship.
