Vladimir Guerrero Jr. didn’t begin the 2019 season on the Toronto Blue Jays’ major league roster – the franchise wanted to keep him in the minors at the start, so they could get another year of team control on his contract – but he should be up in the bigs soon.
He better be, anyway.
Guerrero Jr., the son of the former MLB All-Star and one of the top prospects in the game, hit an absolute monster of a home run tonight.
Here’s the homer:

Yes, Guerrero Jr. hit that one so far that it left the stadium in Pawtucket.
The home run upped his batting average on the season to .438 and his OPS to 1.375.
Hopefully, we’ll be seeing him up in the majors soon. Until then, we’ll enjoy the occasional clip of him destroying minor league pitching.
